Who it’s for

Useful if you are managing a project with multiple phases, deliverables, or client stakeholders and need more than a to-do list. Not useful if you already use dedicated project management software that covers this, adding a second tracker creates more work than it saves.

If it works

If you set it up at the start of the project and update it consistently, both you and the client have a single reference point for where things stand. The sign-off tracker is the most practically useful section: a record of who approved what and when protects you if there is disagreement later.

A tracker does not manage a project. It records what is happening. If tasks are slipping, the problem is usually not the tracking system.

  • This is a CSV file. Open it in Google Sheets or Excel. It will not work as a document or a PDF.
  • After downloading, you will find the file in your account under My Downloads.
  • You are getting a licence to use and adapt this for your own work. You cannot sell, redistribute, or share it with others.
