Who it’s for
Useful if you are currently sending invoices that do not include payment terms, or if you have avoided chasing late payments because you did not know what to say. Not the right fit if you already have a well-functioning invoicing setup and your problem is clients who pay late despite clear terms, that is a client selection problem, not an invoicing one.
If it works
If you add the payment terms to your proposals and statements of work from the start, not just to invoices, clients arrive at payment stage already aware of the terms. The follow-up templates reduce the friction of chasing because the words are already there.
This will not stop a client who has decided not to pay. It will make non-payment harder to claim was accidental, and it will make the conversation easier to have when it does happen.
