Ben is a freelance digital PR consultant specialising in tech, media and charity sectors. He was awarded Young PR Professional of the Year 2010 and is the youngest ever PR professional to be featured in PR Week.
Before becoming independent Ben was a founding member of 33 Digital, an international digital PR and marketing agency, where he managed accounts for O2, Microsoft, Financial Times and Telefonica among others. Ben is on the advisory panel for the Hotwire Group, the parent company of 33 Digital. In May 2009 Ben was part of the team at Hotwire Group which introduced 33 Digital, one of the first PR digital agency spin-offs in the UK.
Ben is the founder and director of Bright One, a volunteer-run communications agency for the Third Sector, whose client experience includes Amnesty International, Centrepoint, St Dunstan’s and the London Green Fair. He is also a board member of Charity Comms, the professional body for charity sector communications.
Ben is also a founding member of Twestival, a series of fundraising events using the social network Twitter, which has raised over $2 million to date.
